The Philippine Embassy in Brasilia's celebration of National Heritage Month culminated in its hosting of an afternoon experience of Philippine culture on May 23 in cooperation with Clube Internacional at the Bahay Pilipino, the Official Residence of the Ambassador in Brasilia.
The Philippines and Brazil negotiated and initialed an Air Services Agreement on May 20 at the office of Brazil`s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The ASA would pave the way for the two countries’ respective carriers to mount daily flights to and from each other’s territory.

Philippine Ambassador to Brazil, Eva G. Betita, served as panel speaker in an annual seminar sponsored by the Universidade Católica de Brasilia in Paracatu, Minas Gerais on 26 April 2013 on the role of civil society in the Philippine national development. The other seminar speakers were university professors and law practitioners.
The Philippines participated in the 9th Latin America Aerospace and Defense (LAAD) Security Conference held in Riocentro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from April 09 to 12, 2013.
The Philippine Embassy in Brazil performed a cooking demonstration on April 16 at the University's School of Gastronomy, Universidade Catolica de Brasilia. The event was part of the Brasilia-ASEAN Committee's efforts to bring greater awareness of the ASEAN regional grouping and the Philippines to students in Brasilia.
Philippine Ambassador to Brazil Eva G. Betita was one of the recipients of the Award for Women (Trofeu Mulher) of Brazil’s International Academy of Culture (Academia Internacional de Cultura) on March 23 at Club of Nations (Clube das Nacoes), Brasilia, Brazil.
As part of the Philippine Sports Commission's (PSC) Technical Mission to Brasilia, Brazil from March 21 to 23, the delegation headed by PSC Chairman Ricardo Garcia conducted a study tour of Brasilia's national stadium also known as the Estadio Mane Garrincha and one of their Centro Olimpico.
The Philippine Embassy in Brasilia participated in the 6th International Seminar on Social Policies for Development held in Brasilia, Brazil from March 19 to 22.
