Apostille
If you intend to use foreign-issued documents in the Philippines, they must be apostilled by an appropriate authority from the issuing country. Foreign-issued documents for submission to the Philippine Embassy in Brasilia must first be apostilled.
Documents that are in a foreign language have to be translated into English by a sworn translator prior to being apostilled.
In Brazil, authorized cartorios apostille foreign documents. In most countries, it is the Ministry of External Relations. Please check for the relevant Competent Authorities for the issuance of Apostilles if you reside in a country other than Brazil.
Apostilled documents will no longer have to be authenticated by the Embassy.
Apostilled documents will automatically be accepted in the Philippines.
