Ambassador Eva G. Betita receives Award for Distinguished Women

Philippine Ambassador to Brazil Eva G. Betita was one of the recipients of the Award for Women (Trofeu Mulher) of Brazil’s International Academy of Culture (Academia Internacional de Cultura) on March 23 at Club of Nations (Clube das Nacoes), Brasilia, Brazil.

The award was given to distinguished women in various fields, including diplomacy. Because of the Academy’s prestige and popularity, the award received by Ambassador Betita raised the level of awareness and positive image of the Philippines in Brazilian Society and within the diplomatic community in Brasilia.

Among the recepient of the awards were Guinea-Bissau Ambassador Eugenia Saldanha, and 10 Brazilian women in the field of music, business, medicine, performing arts, literature, law and law enforcement. END
