Philippine Ambassador votes in Brasilia

H.E. Marichu Mauro, Ambassador of the Philippines to Brazil, hands over her ballot to Special Ballot Reception and Custody Group (SBRCG) Chairperson Ms. Helena Tan today, 15 April 2019. The election period for Overseas Absentee Voting commenced on 13 April 2019 in Brazil and other Philippine foreign posts and will last until 13 May 2019. The Philippine Embassy in Brazil is conducting Postal Voting for all active and registered Filipino voters in their areas of jurisdiction namely Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname and Venezuela.

PH Embassy receives first ballots, kicks off election period

   

Mrs. Cristina Bea and her daughter, Mary Diane Bea, a first-time voter, hand-carried their ballots to the Philippine Embassy in Brazil on 13 April 2019, the kick-off of the election period for Overseas Absentee Voting. Their ballots were the first ones received by the Embassy which is conducting Postal Voting for this year’s National and Local Elections.

Philippine Embassy holds outreach services in Rio de Janeiro

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL: As part of its mandate to deliver outreach services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Embassy in Brazil provided consular services to Filipinos in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, 17 March 2019 at the aptly named South American Copacabana Hotel in the famed Copacabana area of Rio.
