Philippine Ambassador Mario F. Chan meets with Ambassador Marcia Donner Abreu, Secretary for Regional and Bilateral Negotiations in Southeast Asia and Russia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil

 

03 March 2022 - Enhancing further the bilateral relations between Brazil and the Philippines, Ambassador Mario F. Chan meets Ambassador Marcia Donner Abreu in her office at Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss the following matters of mutual interest between the Philippines and Brazil:

 

1. Brazil’s application for sectoral dialogue partnership with ASEAN;
2. The proposal for a Technical Cooperation Agreement between PHL and Brazil;
   
   
3. The possibility of posting a PHL Defense Attaché in Brazil and the pursuit of further defense cooperation between PHL and Brazil; and
   
   
4. Updates on PHL elections.

 

The conduct of the meeting was cordial and welcoming, forging more robust bilateral ties support and cooperation between the Philippines and Brazil. END.
