Philippine Ambassador Mario Chan calls on Saudi Arabia Ambassador Ali Abdulaah Bahitham in Brasilia to address repatriation concerns of the Filipino security guards of the Saudi Embassy

PHL Ambassador Mario F. Chan calls on Ambassador Ali Abdullah Bahitham at the Chancery of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 25 February 2022

 

25 February 2022, Brasilia – Philippine Ambassador Mario F. Chan called on Saudi Ambassador Ali Abdullah Bahitham on 25 February 2022 at the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Brasilia to discuss and address the repatriation of thirteen Filipino security guards who were formerly employed by the Saudi Embassy.

 

Due to the pandemic, the repatriation flights from Brazil of the said security guards have been canceled, causing the repatriation delay. Ambassador Bahitham however assured that the repatriation of the said stranded Filipinos shall be given attention with utmost priority.
