Phl Embassy in Brasilia Brings Consular Services Closer to Pinoys in São Paulo

A consular outreach team from the Philippine Embassy in Brasilia visited São Paulo, Brazil for a consular mission on 11-12 January 2017.

Second Secretary and Consul Eric P. Valenzuela and Consular/ATN Assistant Teresa M. Paran who made up the consular mission team served a total of 44 passport applicants during the said mission. The Embassy Team also accepted applications for civil registration and notarization.

The Embassy Team also advised the Filipinos in São Paulo regarding their labor- and immigration-related concerns.

São Paulo is home to the largest number of Filipinos in Brazil, most of whom are missionaries, nannies or are working in commercial establishments.
